Workshops draw upon Butoh, martial arts and chi-kung and  focus on our connection to land and environment. Nick teaches in both rural and city locations and seeks to draw out our sense of place. He encourages participants to encounter stillness, listening and an ability to move from an engagement with the atmosphere and memory of place.

 His workshops are open to anyone interested in movement and no dance or actor training is required.  He has taught widely in university, adult education and community contexts and his work has been adapted for use with children with learning difficulties or special needs.

He can also teach workshops which integrate working with sound  and linking his backgrounds in visual art and movement

He is an Associate Tutor at Goldsmiths University London,and teaches classes and workshops for Butoh UK,Laban Centre,and Siobhan Davies Studio London.
